New Beginnings

Random thought: Is there such a thing as old beginnings?

First order of business - ethanol. Specifically, corn-based gasoline-replacement lobbyist-sponsored ethanol. Personal bias on the matter: I like ethanol. It helps my town (one ethanol and one biodiesel plant in progress), it helps my state (corn prices are skyrocketing), and it helps my friends (many of whom are farmers). However, I am still not wholly convinced of its merits, and so my judgment will be reserved until a later time. Since the ethanol/renewable energy debate is going to be a crucial part of the next elections, the issue has current merit for those outside of the corn belt.

Secondly - you may note that I have no previous blog contributions, at least here. This is a result of my poliblog transfer from xanga to this locale. All of my political ravings (and they are many) can now be released towards an entirely new audience, and my personal comments can live on at xanga. What joy doth fill my heart.

Tertiarially - (is this a word?) does anyone out there know about the FPSPI (Future Problem Solving Program International)? I am conducting an impromptu survey to determine the public awareness towards the program. If you don't know about it, check out our work in progress at Wikipedia.

Hello,
I have heard of FPSI! In fact, I am a member myself. How interesting.

It's pretty clever of you to put more professional, so to speak, thoughts on Blogger. I've always found Xanga easier to maneuver around, but Blogger has a more serious feel to it. And more organized layouts too.

I almost forgot I had one of these, but I just figured I'd leave you a congratulatory remark on your newest cyber home. Have fun on your future ethanol theorizing.

Ooh, now I can leave comments without a Xanga account. :-) I look forward to reading future posts!

P.S. I don't know about you, but I find text-on-black hard to read. Maybe it's just me.

You missed half of my accounts.

Here's a profound secret: you can make many accounts, but you don't have to use them that often! Don't tell anyone.

Oooh! OOOOH!! I've heard of FPS, too!!

In fact, I am a member! In fact, we have the same coach! In fact, I just saw you a week ago!

In fact, this joke is getting kind of old.

Great post. I cannot wait to hear more about your "Legisading," as it were. Please smack my representative for me when you get there: she voted for the cloning bill.

And by "smack," I mean, of course, the non-literal definition. Ahem.

(Goodbye, future political career...)
